Dawson Insurance Agency, Inc. operates as an Independent Insurance Agency servicing Illinois and Southern Wisconsin residents. The agency was founded by veteran, Thomas A Dawson. Tom worked for many leading insurance carriers before establishing the agency in 1956.

The agency became a second generation business upon Tom's retirement in 1979 when his son James T. Dawson purchased the agency. Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and holds a Business Administration Degree in Finance and Insurance. Today, Jim is the president of the agency and has participated in leading roles in several community and insurance organizations such as the Jaycees, Lions, Rotary and Professional Agents Association.

The agency continues to service the insurance needs (Auto, Home, Boat, Business, Life & Health) personal and commercial clients by offering quality Insurance carriers. The agency was automated in 1984 and has continued to meet its customers needs through stability, safety, and integrity.
